
Zhoug is a zesty yet mild cilantro and chili based condiment that is widely enjoyed across the Middle East. Used typically as marinade or sauce, its vibrant green hue and pesto like consistency make this condiment a colorful and flavor packed way to add a little pizzazz to sauces, soups, dressings and dips. Stir into strained yogurt for great dip or over falafel as an appetizer. Typically Zhoug is fiery hot, but we kept ours mild so you can eat it by the spoonful!
